The Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) is hosting a webinar to inform members and interested stakeholders of the importance of the next day study process used by utilities to ensure reliability. Representatives from Peak Reliability and the California ISO will walk through the process at a high level and discuss the input data, study output and results, and describe the challenges with data quality and system variability. As part of the next day study process, it is important for utility engineers to reconcile the output of the studies with their neighboring utilities as well as with the Reliability Coordinator. Peak and the CAISO will discuss best practices in the study and reconciliation process and ways to improve the next day study process throughout the West. There will be an opportunity for Q&A from the audience.
