WIRAB Monthly Meeting (May 2017)

Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) staff is conducting its monthly teleconference with WIRAB Members to discuss WIRAB’s current initiatives and activities. The purpose of the monthly meetings is to provide WIRAB Members with progress reports on key initiatives and activities, to educate WIRAB Members on important reliability topics, and to seek input on the development of WIRAB advice to FERC, WECC, and Peak Reliability. This month we will be joined by a representative from WECC to discuss its 2018 Business Plan and Budget. There will be an opportunity for WIRAB Members to ask questions of the WECC staff about the 2018 Budget in preparation for WIRAB advice to be submitted to the WECC Board of Directors. Additional items to be discussed at this month’s meeting include: WIRAB’s 2018 Business Plan and Budget, an upcoming WIRAB webinar on Next Day Studies, an update on the WECC Nominating Committee Structure workgroup proposal, an update on Peak’s data sharing policy, as well as other topics.
